Project experience
- Represented a creditor in the bankruptcy proceedings of one of the largest infrastructure contractors in Saint Petersburg. We ensured that the bankruptcy estate was replenished and collected evidence of the beneficiaries' misconduct. The amount of assets protected exceeded RUB 7.5 billion.
- Supported the bankruptcy proceedings for a machine-building plant. The project resulted in a reduction of debt of over RUB 10 billion. This was achieved by excluding affiliated creditors and successfully challenging a transaction with a top-3 bank worth RUB 2.5 billion.
- Worked to ensure the compliance with all necessary pre-bankruptcy procedures and developed a strategy for protecting the interests of a top-10 bank. As a result, we were able to restructure the credit obligations of the largest oil and gas group in Russia and facilitate the successful completion of all bankruptcy procedures. The obligations totaled over RUB 5 billion.
- In bankruptcy proceedings involving a group of leading construction companies in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, we developed a strategy that demonstrated that the management were not planning fraudulent bankruptcy. This led to the dismissal of both criminal and civil claims related to subsidiary liability.
- Represented a creditor (a top-10 bank) in the bankruptcy proceedings of a leading Russian beverage company. We reduced a bankrupt company's debt burden by overturning adverse precedents regarding credit institution liability in the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
- Represented a top-10 bank in bankruptcy proceedings involving a group of nuclear power plant construction companies. We successfully implemented a strategy to establish a profit center and hold it liable for over RUB 8 billion.
- Provided legal support for a leading car dealership in the Northwestern Federal District that went bankrupt due to a corporate conflict. We succeeded in restoring the rights of minority shareholders for a bankrupt debtor.
- Defended a top manager of a major construction company in the Ural and Central Federal Districts against subsidiary liability. The strategy we developed encompassed all instances of bankruptcy proceedings against the group's entities.
