Project experience
- Represented a creditor in the bankruptcy proceedings of one of the largest infrastructure contractors in St. Petersburg. Ensured the replenishment of the bankruptcy estate and collected evidence of the beneficiaries' misconduct. The assets protected exceeded RUB 7.5 billion.
- Defended a top manager of a large construction company (Ural and Central Federal Districts) against subsidiary liability. The strategy developed covered all bankruptcy cases initiated against the group's companies.
- Provided full-service legal support in bankruptcy proceedings for a construction company (projects included the Kerch Strait Bridge and M-11 Federal Highway). Conducted a financial investigation that resulted in dozens of successfully challenged transactions and subsidiary liability claims against beneficiaries exceeding RUB 2.8 billion.
- Representing a client (a top 10 bank) in the bankruptcy case of a major developer under a government contract. To compensate for the total damages, the bank was also recognized as a victim in a criminal case regarding the theft of funds allocated for construction.
- Provided full-service legal support in Russia's central corporate conflict of 2020. Secured a position on more than 20 disputes, which allowed the Client to sign settlement agreements in respect of more than RUB 19 billion in commodity assets.
- Represented a client in a dispute between the former co-owners of a major transportation and logistics company. The dispute strategy ensured the recovery of more than RUB 500 million from the opposing party.
- Implemented measures to prevent the bankruptcy of a major oil company in the Northwestern Federal District with creditors' potential claims exceeding RUB 36 billion.
- Managed and settled the troubled debts of the largest bank in the CIS for RUB 100 billion.
- Represented the owner of A+ class commercial real estate in the historical center of St. Petersburg in disputes with a lessee. The litigation strategy ensured the dismissal of claims exceeding RUB 1.4 billion.
- Secured conflict settlement and structuring of a transaction among strategic partners of the federal energy company in a joint venture for the development in an elite suburb of St. Petersburg (assets exceeding RUB 1 billion).
- Managed the troubled debts of Asian state insurance corporations in Russia, including insolvency cases and out-of-court settlements.
